Veterinary Medicines Directorate is a state corporation established under the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Paraprofessionals Act,2011and operationalized through the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Paraprofessionals (The Veterinary Medicines Directorate) Regulations, 2015.
It is mandated to regulate the manufacture, importation, exportation, registration, distribution, prescription, and dispensing of Veterinary Medicines and other animal health products in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
The Inspector will ensure compliance with veterinary medicines regulations through inspections and monitoring.
