Background

Madison Group Limited is a locally owned financial services holding company that specializes in Insurance and wealth management services. The Group comprises of Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited, Madison General Insurance Kenya Limited, and Madison Investment Managers Limited. Madison Life Assurance Kenya was originally incorporated under Kenyan Laws in 1988 as Madison Insurance Company Limited (MICK) after a successful merger between Crusader Plc (1974) and Kenya Commercial Insurance Corporation.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Insurance Agent, with a primary location in Mombasa and flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves assessing client insurance needs, educating clients about policy options, processing policy renewals, and handling queries related to insurance policies and claims. Agents will also play an active role in developing sales strategies to meet individual and team targets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Insurance Sales, Insurance products, and Insurance Brokerage processes
• Understanding of Finance principles and their application to insurance management
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage
• A diploma or degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets is a plus
