Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.

Responsibilities

  • The Insurance Sales professional will identify prospective clients, present suitable insurance solutions, and close sales across various product lines, including life, health, and general insurance.
  • Daily activities include conducting client meetings, assessing customer needs, preparing quotations, and processing applications in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • The role involves ongoing customer service, policy reviews, and renewals to ensure retention and satisfaction, as well as collaboration with internal teams and brokerage partners where applicable.
  • The Insurance Sales professional will also participate in marketing initiatives, maintain accurate sales records, and meet individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and a solid understanding of Insurance products and markets.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to handle inquiries, provide support, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage, including working with intermediaries and navigating brokerage channels.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Insurance products, underwriting basics, and claims processes.
  • Relevant academic qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in insurance or financial services sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple clients, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or sales management tools is beneficial.
