Background
Neso is looking for an experienced Interior Designer & Site Project Lead to join our growing interiors team. We need someone who is not only creative with design, but also understands how interior projects are actually built on site.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both residential and commercial interior projects, including kitchens, wardrobes, TV wall units, gypsum ceilings, painting, décor, furniture, tiling, flooring, office spaces and full interior fit-out works.
You should be able to handle the full process from design to implementation, including:
- Client consultations and space planning
- 3D renders, working drawings, and cutting lists
- BOQs, material costing, and project estimates
- Kitchen cabinet and joinery design
- Built-in appliance integration
- Understanding MEP coordination
- Coordinating fundis, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, tilers, and other site teams
- Supervising workmanship and ensuring quality finishes
- Explaining designs clearly to clients and helping them visualize the final space
We are looking for someone with integrity, good workmanship standards, strong communication skills, and real site experience.
This role is best for someone who can design beautifully, plan properly, manage site work confidently, and take responsibility for the final result.
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio of completed residential and/or commercial interior projects is required.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Practical site experience in interior fit-outs, joinery, gypsum, painting, flooring, tiling, and furniture works is highly preferred.
- Experience preparing BOQs, material estimates, working drawings, cutting lists, and project timelines.
- Proven ability to coordinate fundis, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, workmanship quality, and site execution.
- Built-in appliance integration experience is an added advantage.
