Job Purpose:

The Intern will support the execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms. They will contribute to content creation, community management, brand activation, and campaign performance monitoring to strengthen the Bank's digital presence and engagement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiative:

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms.
  • Assist in developing and scheduling content calendars to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Contribute to the preparation of weekly performance reports, campaign dashboards, and post-campaign analyses.

Operational Controls

  • Create copywriting and simple design assets (banners, social cards, EDMs) aligned to brand guidelines.
  • Support community management activities including responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions across platforms.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing events, activations, and in-branch brand visibility initiatives.
  • Update and maintain the marketing collateral library including photos, videos, and digital assets.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance metrics and flag anomalies or optimization opportunities to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) and email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp).
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience or coursework in digital marketing, copywriting, or content creation will be an added advantage.

Competencies required for this Role

  • Creative writing and copywriting ability with strong command of tone and digital audience engagement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across formats and channels.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to read and interpret basic campaign performance data (CTR, reach, impressions, engagement rate).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally across internal teams and digital communities.
  • Self-starter with efficient time management, task prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional setting.
  • Delivering results and meeting stakeholders' expectations.
