Job Purpose
The Finance Intern will provide support to the Finance Department in financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The role is designed to offer practical exposure and professional development to a recent graduate with strong academic and professional qualifications.
Responsibilities or duties
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support financial data analysis and preparation of analytical reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as required.
Qualifications or requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or any business-related degree
- Must have CPA or CFA qualifications
- Must have graduated from a recognized university in not more than 2 years
