INTERNAL AUDITOR
LOCATION: NAIROBI

QUALIFICATIONS
☑ Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE
☑ At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Evaluate and improve internal controls: Assess the effectiveness of controls to safeguard company assets and ensure their accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Risk management: Identify and evaluate risks to the organization and ensure that action is taken to manage them. Ensure compliance: Verify that the organization is complying with relevant laws, statutes, policies, and operating instructions. Provide consulting and recommendations: Act as a trusted advisor, providing advice on how to improve business processes, and act as a catalyst for positive change. Monitor and report: Report findings to the board and management, monitor the implementation of corrective actions, and prepare reports on their findings.

Analytical and critical thinking: Assess risks, identify issues, and draw conclusions from raw data. Communication: Verbally and in writing communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Problem-solving: Develop solutions to inefficiencies and control weaknesses. Knowledge areas: Understand business and industry standards, internal controls, risk management, IT, and financial reporting components.
