Looking for an accounting job in Kenya? City Walk is hiring an Inventory Accountant to manage inventory records, reconcile stock movements and ensure accurate stock valuation. The role is based in Nairobi and strong understanding of inventory valuation methods is required.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end inventory transaction reconciliation (central warehouse + 38 branches)
• Final stock sign-off with Inventory Controller (physical-to-GL verification)
• Full returns-to-credit cycle management (customer & branch)
• Branch stock reconciliation to head office ledger

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management
• 3+ years of inventory accounting experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution with multi-branch operations (5+ branches minimum)
• Advanced Excel & ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Enquest [Preferred])
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation methods and provisions

Strongly preferred

• CPA, ACCA, CIMA (or actively pursuing)
• Experience in fashion, footwear, or perfumes/cosmetics
• WMS integration, inter-branch transfers & elimination accounting
