Job Description
We are looking for proactive, detail-oriented professional who is committed to operational excellence. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining accurate processes and compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep inventory records precise and ensure prompt entry of data
- Receiving of stocks per site
- Address inventory discrepancies and promptly resolve any issues
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine inspections to confirm precision
- Create thorough inventory reports to be reviewed by management
- Examine inventory expenses and discrepancies to assist in making financial choices
- Work together with the supply and retail teams to optimise inventory procedures
- Help with inventory-related tasks during the monthly and yearly closing processes
- Establish and uphold Inventory Management Protocols
- Make sure to follow company policies and adhere to accounting standards
- Offer advice and suggestions for improving inventory efficiency and lowering costs
- Plan and organise for quarterly stock takes at all sites (and impromptu ones where necessary)
Academic Qualifications & Professional Experience
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA qualification or accounting background.
- 3-5 years' experience in inventory or stock control (preferably in oil and gas or FMCG)
- Strong numerical, analytical, advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience using the Sage ERP system will be an added advantage
- Deep knowledge of Kenyan tax, regulatory, and energy sector rules.
- Immediate availability is preferred
