Job brief:
The Inventory Associate is responsible for managing and monitoring stock levels to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock movement. The role involves receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing inventory while maintaining proper documentation and supporting stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits.
- Prepare and issue stock to internal departments as required.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the storage area.
Desired Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience in inventory, stores, or warehouse management is an added advantage.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
