JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to oversee and manage inventory operations within our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing storage processes, and ensuring efficient handling of stock to support smooth business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and accurately record inventory levels on a daily basis.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Design, implement, and maintain an optimal warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Categorize, label, and organize inventory for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and well-organized storage areas at all times.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the inventory management system.
  • Implement controls and measures to minimize inventory shrinkage due to theft, damage, or obsolescence.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming inventory to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage inventory returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stock management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and best practices is an added advantage.
