JOB DETAILS:

Purpose of the Job

To investigate allegations of fraud or misappropriation of company assets by gathering relevant evidence and supporting prosecution processes in courts.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop investigation/work plans for allocated cases.
• Undertake investigations on allegations of fraud, misappropriation of company property, or other criminal activities.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations and reviews based on audit findings.
• Gather and analyze evidence, organizing it into statements, records, and factual summaries.
• Produce intelligence reports to inform investigations.
• Ensure safe custody of all investigative records and evidence.
• Document all investigations in a concise, factual, and timely manner.
• Support prosecution processes in court by attending sittings for handled investigations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Training in fraud examination/investigations from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA(K), CIA, CISA, or ACCA.

Experience

• At least 3 years of audit experience in a commercial setting or professional audit firm.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
