The Investment Accountant will play a critical role in accounting and reporting. This role requires expertise in capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, and entity-level financial statement preparation, ensuring strict adherence to fund agreements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cash calls and distributions through the investment accounting module.
• Prepare cash call and distribution notices.
• Reconcile capital balances between the investment accounting module and the GL.
• Record journal entries and prepare financial statements for investment entities.
• Process monthly P&L roll ups in the investment accounting module.
• Maintain entity-level waterfall models for promote calculations.

Skills (Hard & Soft)

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
• Experience with an industry-standard Investment Accounting System (e.g., Investran, Geneva, etc.) MUST. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in real estate investment accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant or in the investment accounting field.
