Responsibilities

Apply Modern Portfolio Theory: Teach students to construct efficient portfolios to maximize returns for a given level of risk.

Perform Security Valuation: Instruct on the various methods of valuing assets, including Dividend Discount Models, Discounted Cash Flow, and Relative Valuation.

Analyze Fixed-Income Securities: Teach the analysis of bond duration, convexity, and yield curves to manage interest rate risk in a portfolio.

Understand Alternative Assets: Guide students in evaluating asset classes like real estate, commodities, and private equity for portfolio diversification.

Evaluate Fund Performance: Train students to use Sharpe Ratio, Treynor Ratio, and Alpha to assess the historical performance of portfolio managers.

Develop Sector Strategies: Facilitate the creation of investment strategies based on macroeconomic trends and industry life cycle analysis.
