Keda Ceramics International Limited is a manufacturing company of ceramics tiles and sanitary ware located in Miwani, Kisumu County and sitting on 150 acres with its headquarters in Guangzhou, China.
Responsibilities or duties
JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate and control the accurate and timely issuing, loading, verification, and transfer of graded materials, ensuring that the correct materials are loaded against the relevant delivery documents and SAP records while maintaining smooth, safe, and efficient loading operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the Team Leader to receive and confirm daily truck allocations.
- Coordinate with Godown Clerks, Loaders, and Forklift Operators to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and on time.
- Ensure the correct quality and quantity of materials are loaded onto the designated trucks, and verify that the SAP code, colour code, truck number, and material details match the applicable waybill or delivery note.
- Provide appropriate guidance and coordination to Truck Drivers, Loaders, and Forklift Operators to ensure loading operations are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Assistant Manager – Grading to obtain final confirmation of materials loaded onto the trucks and ensure timely transfer of materials to the receiving area across all shifts.
- Maintain effective coordination with the Production Department to ensure smooth and timely material flow.
- Conduct thorough verification of SAP codes, colour codes, quantities, and material quality before confirming the materials for issuing. Identify any deviations and coordinate with the Manager – Grading to ensure the necessary corrections are made.
- Coordinate with Godown Clerks to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of materials from the receiving area to the designated godown.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Manager, or other authorized members of management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Experience needed
0–2 years of experience.
