To plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Junior Secondary School learners, while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Job Description

Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE

Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials in line with CBC requirements

Assess, evaluate, and monitor learners’ academic progress

Maintain accurate student records and reports

Create a conducive learning environment that promotes discipline and active participation

Participate in co-curricular and school development activities

Collaborate with other staff to support overall student development

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and/or CRE

Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)

Proven experience teaching at Junior Secondary level is an added advantage

Strong knowledge of CBC curriculum

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
