The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts and onboarding new clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and be able to maintain client relationships while driving account growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing merchants and enterprise clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations
  • Onboard new clients and coordinate integration with technical teams
  • Monitor account performance, transaction volumes, and revenue growth (KEY)
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (KEY)
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with operations, compliance, and tech teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the payments industry (PSP, fintech, banking, or related sector)
  • Strong understanding of payment methods (cards, mobile money, bank transfers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with API-based payment integrations
  • Experience managing merchant or enterprise accounts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to interpret transaction data and performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
