Junior Accountant
Job Purpose:
Our client, in logistics and Distribution Company is looking to hire a competent Accountant.
Ideal candidate should have accounts receivables and payables experience of 2 years in FMCG industry especially in distribution and Experience in stocks & Bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily cash flow reconciliation and reporting across the business.
- Oversee branch operations for assigned branches.
- Sales and revenue reconciliation - Receipting of invoices on SAP.
- Receipting of WHT receivables.
- Petty cash reconciliation and upload expenses.
- Prepare and track branch profitability reports.
- Monthly bank reconciliations in SAP.
- Reconcile loan payments and update loan accounts in SAP ERP.
- Participate in branch visits, stock takes & reconciliations.
- Provide cover for accountants on leave and assist in onboarding new staff.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or a related field.
- CPA will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proficient in MS-Excel, QuickBooks, and any accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- High level of integrity and responsibility
- Should be a team player
