Junior Copywriter

Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Development:

  • Write engaging and persuasive copy for various mediums, including digital ads, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Develop creative concepts, taglines, and slogans to enhance branding and campaign messaging.
  • Adapt writing style and tone to meet the unique requirements of each client and project.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.

Campaign Ideation and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to develop impactful campaign ideas.
  • Contribute to the ideation process, providing innovative concepts and creative insights.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for client campaigns and pitches.
  • Analyze campaign briefs to understand client objectives, target audiences, and key messages.

Editing and Proofreading:

  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Proofread materials for grammatical errors, spelling issues, and alignment with brand tone.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality and impact of creative outputs.

Research and Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth research on client industries, competitors, and audiences to inform content.
  • Stay updated on market trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging platforms to create relevant and impactful copy.
  • Leverage data insights and analytics to optimize content performance.

Cross-Platform Writing:

  • Create optimized content for search engines (SEO), ensuring visibility and engagement.
  • Develop scripts for video ads, voice-overs, and animations to enhance multimedia campaigns.
  • Write compelling headlines, CTAs, and body copy for PPC ads, landing pages, and newsletters.

Collaboration with Teams:

  • Work closely with designers, Videographers, and account managers to align copy with visual and strategic elements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather feedback and refine content based on their needs.
  • Act as a brand guardian for assigned clients, ensuring all communications align with their identity.

Campaign Analysis and Reporting:

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and content through engagement metrics.
  • Provide detailed reports on content performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Iterate and optimize copy based on campaign results and audience feedback.

Client Interaction:

  • Attend client meetings to present ideas, gather insights, and discuss project briefs.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations of creative concepts and campaign strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with teams across other Business Units and contribute to projects, initiatives, or tasks that require cross-functional expertise.
  • Participate in and deliver on projects or tasks assigned from other Business Units.

Requirements

Educational Competency

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in copywriting or content creation, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of creating successful campaigns and high-impact content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and managing feedback to refine creative outputs.
