We are seeking an analytical, proactive, and articulate Junior Fundraising & Grants Officer to strengthen our resource mobilization capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying strategic funding streams, cultivating donor relationships, and writing persuasive grant proposals. The ideal candidate will blend excellent technical writing skills with structural stakeholder engagement to secure competitive institutional and philanthropic financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resource Mobilization: Proactively scan, research, and evaluate local and international funding opportunities, requests for proposals (RFPs), and donor portfolios.
• Grant Writing: Draft, edit, and compile highly competitive, technical grant proposals and concepts tailored to donor priorities and guidelines.
• Donor Relations: Nurture existing partnerships and establish new lines of communication with philanthropic organizations, corporate grantors, and development agencies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate closely with internal program teams to align project design, budgeting, and logical frameworks with external donor expectations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of active experience in fundraising, professional grant writing, and donor relations management.
• Industry Advantage: Prior experience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society, development organizations, or within dedicated donor-funded projects is highly advantageous.
• Core Skills: Exceptional technical writing capabilities, outstanding communication skills, and a strong capacity for cross-sector stakeholder management.
