Background
We are a Christian School in the education sector, seeking a qualified Junior School teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Studies and Kiswahili at the Junior School level.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, learner-centered, and well-structured lessons in Social Studies and Kiswahili in line with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare and implement subject-specific schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional resources to support effective teaching and learning.
- Apply a variety of teaching methodologies and learning resources to address diverse learning styles and academic abilities across Kiswahili and Social Studies.
- Collaborate with fellow subject teachers and the curriculum coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate interdisciplinary projects and assessments.
- Provide clear explanations of concepts, practical activities, and real-life applications in Kiswahili and Social Studies to enhance learner understanding and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teaching Education, with subject specialization.
- 5 years' relevant experience.
- TSC Registration.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.

- Strong Interpersonal and communication Skills.
- Computer Skills.
- First aid training.
- Childcare skills.
