Junior School Teacher – Mathematics & Integrated Science

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Integrated Science lessons appropriate for junior school learners.
• Assess learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and maintain accurate learner records.
• Identify learners' strengths and areas requiring additional support.
• Promote curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Participate in co-curricular activities, school events, meetings, and professional development programmes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents/guardians where required.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification in Education or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Integrated Science at junior school level.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to use creative and learner-centred teaching approaches.
• Commitment to professional ethics and the holistic development of learners.
