Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality video content for television and digital platforms.
- Work closely with the production team to understand project requirements and creative direction.
- Trim footage and arrange sequences to produce engaging and compelling stories.
- Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, captions, transitions, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Produce rough cuts for review and implement revisions to deliver final edits.
- Organize and archive video content to ensure easy retrieval and proper storage.
- Maintain consistency with the Family Media brand and production standards.
- Keep up to date with current editing techniques and industry trends to enhance content quality.
Requirements
- A diploma, or degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in video editing
- Practical experience using Final Cut Pro for video editing is a must
- A good understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and pacing.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Ability to work within deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
