  • Oral Fluency & Phonics: Lead weekly speaking clinics and ensure systematic phonics teaching so students can decode unfamiliar French words independently.
  • Authentic Resources: Source and curate authentic materials (French news, songs, vlogs, menus, film clips) to teach cultural nuance and colloquial language.
  • Speaking Exam Preparation: Manage the individual, face-to-face oral examination preparation (role plays, photo cards, general conversation) for GCSE, including scheduling mock orals.
  • Grammar Trajectory: Design a clear verb-tense progression (present → perfect → future → imperfect → conditional) that is consistently revisited across KS3 and KS4.
  • Exchange/Trip Coordinator: Plan and lead the annual French residential trip or virtual exchange program, managing risk assessments, budgets, and student chaperones.
  • Curriculum delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge standards.
  • Learner assessment: Design and administer assessments that evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Classroom management: Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment that fosters discipline and collaboration.
  • Holistic development: Integrate co-curricular activities and values to support learners' social, emotional, and moral growth.
  • Parental engagement: Communicate regularly with parents on learner progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.
  • Applicants must be TSC registered.
  • Have at least 5 years teaching experience - national or international curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching the Cambridge curriculum is an added advantage.
  • Qualified to teach at least two of the subjects advertised.
  • Able to handle their subject combinations across key stage 2 - 4.
