JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

• Cook and plate nutritious food for both patients and staff.
• Maintains high hygiene standards to meet patient safety goals and HACCP standards.
• Assist in cost control by reducing waste during preparation, cooking, and portioning of food.
• Plan and make requisition of ingredients, according to the day’s menu.
• Adherence and maintenance of HACCP standards.
• Looking after the stock of the kitchen and informing the head Chef as the stocks run out.
• Demonstrate ability to efficiently deliver diverse menu options by following stipulated standard recipes.
• Promote a safety-first culture regarding environmental health, safety, fire precautions, and disaster preparedness.
• And any other related duties, as assigned by the Chef in charge.

Required qualifications, attributes, and experience.

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or its equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience from a reputable and busy Institution in the hot kitchen.
• Culinary expertise, multitasking
• Must be customer-centric
• Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills
• A team player with a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity
• Creative, flexible team player who is a kitchen all-rounder.
• HACCP knowledge

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: associate degree
