6 years post-qualification experience in a busy dispute resolution department,

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Represent clients in court across various levels of the judiciary, including preparing court documents, legal arguments, and oral submissions.

Attend court hearings regularly, advocating on behalf of clients, presenting evidence, and managing proceedings effectively.

Conduct thorough legal research and produce well-reasoned legal opinions and briefs in a timely and accurate manner.

Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, motions, letters of demand, and settlement agreements, with minimal supervision.

Manage a diverse litigation caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept fully informed throughout the process.

Engage directly with clients, take detailed briefs, provide strategic legal advice, and build trusted relationships.

Handle debt recovery matters, including initiating legal action, enforcing judgments, and negotiating payment terms.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including counsel, court officials, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective case management.

Adapt quickly and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Contribute to strategic litigation planning, offering input on case strategy, risk analysis, and dispute resolution options.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in IT support/management (2+ years), graphic design and digital content creation (2+ years), and social media marketing and social media management, ideally with experience across these areas within a business or agency environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, including hardware, software, and network systems.

In-depth knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or other relevant tools.

Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Understanding of website development, HTML/CSS, and web design best practices is a plus.

Familiarity with server management and cloud-based solutions.

Experience with IT security protocols, data backup, and disaster recovery systems.

Creative Skills

Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and expertise in graphic design for both digital and print media.

Solid understanding of typography, color theory and design composition.

Ability to create designs that align with marketing objectives while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles for digital platforms.
