JOB DETAILS:
Katikirieni Secondary School is a public school in Chonyi sub county, Kilifi County. Pursuant to our expansion in Science subjects, the Board of Management invites applications from suitably qualified and self-motivated candidates to fill the position of Laboratory Technician on B.O.M terms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be required to:
- 1. Prepare apparatus and chemicals for practical lessons in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- 2. Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper storage of laboratory equipment and chemical
- 3. Keep an updated stock register and advise on requisition of lab materials
- 4. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Principal
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must be trained in Laboratory Technology / Laboratory Science from a recognized institution and at least 1 year experience in a school or research laboratory - experience in secondary school will be an added advantage.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
