JOB DETAILS:
Background
Naivasha Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (NAIVAWASCO) was established by the Water Act of Parliament on (2002). NAIVAWASCO was incorporated on 8th September 2005 and started operations in 2006 with shareholding by the then Municipal Council of Naivasha.
Job Purpose
To monitor and enforce strict compliance with water and sewage treatment standards. This role ensures that all processed water and effluent meet approved quality specifications through rigorous sampling, chemical analysis, and laboratory oversight.
Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills).
Academic qualifications
Diploma in Water and Wastewater Laboratory Technology or its equivalent.
Professional Qualifications
Membership to Water Quality association or its equivalent will be an added advantage
Previous relevant work experience required
Work experience of at least three (3) years, two (2) of which must have been at a public water utility in a water quality role.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: professional certificate
