Laboratory Technician (2 Positions)

Role Summary

The Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory tests and procedures that support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention while maintaining quality assurance and laboratory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens.
• Conduct laboratory tests according to established procedures.
• Record and report laboratory results accurately and promptly.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory quality assurance and biosafety standards.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and monitor reagent stock levels.
• Participate in quality control activities.
• Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Valid registration and practicing license from the relevant professional council.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of laboratory experience is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
