At AAR Healthcare, we employ experienced medical and management staff, and use internationally approved disease management protocols and drug formulary supported by the state of the art information technology systems to provide consistent treatment for our clients from anywhere in East Africa.
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Laboratory Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the sample collection and testing from the comfort of clients/patients' locations per the standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and processing of client samples.
- Communication of laboratory results.
- Preparation of laboratory reports.
- Grow the uptake of wellness checks, including growing Home/Office collections as per the targets.
- Drive laboratory revenue.
- Implementation of ISO 15189:2022 guidelines.
- Delivery of pharmaceutical products to clients.
Position Requirements:
- A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
- Demonstrated capability of riding motorcycles with a valid riding licence.
- At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
- Experience in the implementation of the ISO 15189 standard is an added advantage
- ICT competency.
- Excellent customer service
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Pleasant personality
