About The Role

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all laundry areas and equipment, as well as the proper handling and processing of all hotel and guest laundry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry machinery such as washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.
• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry according to established procedures.
• Identify and report any damaged or stained items to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is properly stored.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.
• Provide excellent service to guests and crew members regarding their laundry needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic understanding of English is required.
