Responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, procurement, inventory, and distribution across all branches to ensure efficiency, cost control, and optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee central warehouse and branch inventory operations
• Implement & maintain inventory systems & proper storage standards (FIFO, hygiene, temperature control)
• Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and fortnightly stock takes
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure minimal clerical errors

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Prepare purchase requisitions and plan orders based on inventory levels
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for raw materials and packaging
• Verify invoices against deliveries to eliminate discrepancies
• Negotiate pricing while maintaining quality standards

Distribution & Branch Support

• Coordinate timely delivery of goods to all branches
• Conduct at least 3 monthly branch visits to monitor stock and resolve discrepancies

Reporting & Cost Control

• Prepare variance and reconciliation reports for management review
• Track procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities

Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise supply chain assistants and warehouse staff
• Delegate responsibilities and enforce SOPs to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field
• 5 years’ experience in warehouse/procurement, preferably in FMCG or food industry
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills
• Experience with inventory/ERP systems (Enquest or similar preferred)
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in multi-branch operations (preferred)
