Responsibilities or duties
- Differentiate Leadership Styles: Compare and contrast autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire, and servant leadership styles, analyzing their effectiveness in specific contexts.
- Apply Situational Leadership: Teach the Hersey-Blanchard model, guiding students to adapt their leadership approach based on the maturity and competence of their team members.
- Explore Trait vs. Behavioral Theories: Facilitate discussions on whether leaders are born with specific traits or if leadership behaviors can be learned and developed.
- Apply Transformational Models: Instruct on how to inspire and motivate followers to achieve extraordinary outcomes through charisma, inspiration, and intellectual stimulation.
- Assess Cultural Leadership: Analyze how leadership models vary across cultures (e.g., Hofstede's dimensions) and adapt strategies for leading international teams.
- Implement Authentic Leadership: Guide students in developing their own authentic leadership style by focusing on integrity, transparency, and self-awareness.
