Responsibilities or duties
- Create a Culture of Innovation: Develop teaching strategies on how leaders can build psychological safety and encourage experimentation and idea-sharing within teams.
- Lead Disruptive Change: Instruct on how to manage the human side of innovation, overcoming resistance to change and "not-invented-here" syndrome.
- Champion Intrapreneurship: Guide students in identifying and supporting internal entrepreneurial ventures, allowing employees to develop new products or services.
- Allocate Resources for Innovation: Teach leaders how to budget time and funding for exploratory research and development alongside core business activities.
- Manage Innovation Portfolios: Instruct on balancing incremental improvements with radical innovations to ensure immediate profitability and future survival.
- Leverage External Networks: Guide students in fostering open innovation by partnering with startups, universities, and external experts to source new ideas.
