Lecturer, English & Linguistics at Kabarak University. Responsible for teaching and assessing students, developing course materials, conducting research, and supporting academic activities. Responsibilities or duties

• Teaching and research in English, Linguistics, Literature and related areas (four courses per semester
• Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in English, Linguistics and related disciplines
• Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
• Conducting research in English Language, Linguistics, Literature and related areas.
• Participating in academic seminars, workshops, conferences and departmental activities
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management

Qualifications or requirements

• An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in English, Linguistics, Literature or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
• Excellent laboratory, presentation, teaching and learning support skills
• Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
• Ability to organize academic seminars, workshops and conference
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers

Experience needed

• At least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
