Job Specification

This will be the entry grade for PhD degree holders into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under direct supervision of a senior officer.

Qualifications

• An earned PhD or equivalent Doctoral degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University;
• Hold a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University;
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition And Dietetics or Food Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited and recognized University;
• A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers;
• Show evidence of attendance and contribution at conferences, seminars or workshops;
• Must Be registered with the Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Experience

• At least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or in research/industry;

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
