Background

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support with audits and tax preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
