Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs and other legal documents. Ensure all company contracts and engagements comply with applicable laws and internal policies. Support operational teams in negotiations and contract execution. Compliance & Governance Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies and procedures. Track changes in laws and regulations and advise management accordingly. Support company secretarial functions, including statutory filings and maintenance of corporate records. Risk Management & Dispute Resolution Identify potential legal and compliance risks across the Group and recommend mitigation strategies. Manage disputes, claims and litigation in coordination with external counsel. Maintain a register of ongoing legal matters and prepare periodic status reports. Policy Development & Training Participate in developing and reviewing internal policies to ensure legal soundness. Conduct internal awareness and training sessions on compliance and regulatory obligations. Promote ethical conduct and good governance practices across the Group. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university. Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate (mandatory). 3–4 years’ post-admission experience in corporate legal practice, either in a reputable law firm or in-house environment. Demonstrated experience in contract management, compliance, and corporate advisory. Knowledge of employment, data protection, and commercial law will be an added advantage. Competencies & Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. High integrity, confidentiality, and sound professional judgment. Good understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Proactive, reliable, and collaborative team player.
