Responsibilities

  • Assist in cataloguing & classification organizing library resources
  • Support digitization & archiving of documents/publications
  • Help manage journal records, including ISSN documentation & issue tracking
  • Assist with reader/user services & reference support
  • Support data entry & record-keeping for library holdings
  • Participate in general administrative tasks within the department

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Library & Information Science, Information Studies.
  • Basic knowledge of cataloguing, classification, & information organization systems
  • Familiarity with library management software (eg, KOHA) is an added advantage
  • Good communication & organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team

Experience

6 months contract
