Background

The County Government of Nyeri wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following position: Livestock Production Officer – Job Group ‘K’ – 3 Posts. The Livestock Production Officer will coordinate livestock production activities and support livestock farmers within the county.

Responsibilities

Duties include:

• Providing livestock production advisory services
• Supporting dairy and livestock development initiatives
• Conducting farmer training programs
• Monitoring livestock production systems
• Promoting modern livestock production technologies

Additional Notes

1. Terms of Employment: Three (3) years Contract
