Baron Capital Limited is a non-deposit Taking Lending Institution, registered in the republic of Kenya in the year 2016. We started our operations in January 2017 in Ongata Rongai. Our products include:- - Logbook Loans. - Title Deed Loans. - Asset Financing. - Loan Buy Off.

This role is suited for individuals with a strong background in credit analysis, secured lending, portfolio management, and collections, and the ability to drive business growth while maintaining high asset quality and strict adherence to lending standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and grow a quality loan portfolio in line with company credit policies
  • Conduct detailed credit appraisal, financial analysis, and risk assessment
  • Prepare and submit credit proposals for approval
  • Ensure proper loan documentation, disbursement, and compliance with internal controls
  • Monitor and manage the loan portfolio, ensuring strong repayment performance
  • Execute collections and recovery strategies to maintain low default levels
  • Build and maintain a credible and performing client base
  • Contribute to overall branch performance, growth, and profitability

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in lending within a non-deposit taking microfinance institution
  • Proven track record in credit appraisal, loan processing, and collections
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management principles
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
