Job Summary:
The Loan Officer / Collection Officer is responsible for assessing loan applications, managing disbursements, and ensuring timely repayment. The role involves providing excellent customer service during loan processing and effectively following up on overdue accounts to minimize default risk.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and evaluate loan applications to determine eligibility.
- Explain loan products, terms, and repayment schedules to clients.
- Conduct credit checks and assess financial capacity of applicants.
- Maintain accurate loan records and reports.
- Contact clients with overdue loans and follow up on repayments.
- Negotiate payment plans with defaulting clients and ensure recovery.
- Prepare reports on loan performance and collections.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and lending regulations.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
