Job Overview

Fanikisha Micro Finance Bank is a non-deposit taking Microfinance institution that currently advances loan facilities to Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loans Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating and processing loan applications while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to our lending policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and market various loan products.
  • Evaluate and appraise the creditworthiness of clients.
  • Conduct home and business premise visits prior to loan disbursement.
  • Communicate with clients to collect all necessary information before granting loans.
  • Assist clients in filling out loan application forms and compiling supporting documents.
  • Develop referral networks to attract future clients.
  • Foster trust and build strong relationships to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Assess customer needs and explore all available options for our diverse loan products.
  • Review delinquent accounts and maintain a low portfolio at risk (PAR).
  • Conduct ongoing debt collection and recovery efforts for the loan portfolio.
  • Serve as the liaison officer between clients and Fanikisha Microfinance Bank

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a loans officer or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in customer service and relationship management.
  • Knowledge of credit assessment and loan processing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
