We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loans Officer to join our client's team in Nairobi & Nakuru. This role is crucial in managing loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring efficient loan processing.
Responsibilities
The Loans Officer will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Processing loan applications accurately and efficiently.
- Conducting credit assessments to determine applicant eligibility.
- Managing loan portfolios and ensuring timely repayments.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients regarding their loan inquiries.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in a loans officer role or a similar position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in customer service and relationship management.
- Solid understanding of credit assessment and loan processing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
