Job summary

manages the full lending lifecycle, combining borrower assessment (origination) with active management of loan repayments (recovery). They are responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, processing loans, ensuring timely repayments, and contacting delinquent borrowers to negotiate solutions, the position is for Ngara and kawangare branch

• Loan Origination: Interview applicants, analyze financial documents, evaluate creditworthiness, and verify information to approve or decline loan applications within company guidelines.
• Repayment Management: Monitor loan portfolios, send payment reminders, and follow up with customers regarding upcoming or overdue payments via phone calls, SMS, or emails.
• Collections & Recovery: Proactively engage with clients to recover overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans or restructuring options for clients experiencing financial difficulties.
• Account Maintenance: Update customer records, accurately record payment transactions, and maintain data confidentiality.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection progress, portfolio quality, and non-performing loans.
• Compliance: Adhere to all internal lending policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Central Bank regulations or microfinance laws).
