• Provide comprehensive nursing services to all patients to assist them regain good health
• Participate in ward rounds and writing ward reports
• Prepares specific ward reports and timely submit the same.
• Carry out nursing care plan
• Maintaining intravenous IV fluids
• Carry out blood transfusion
• Monitor and deliver mothers in labour, receiving and resuscitating babies
• Order and administer drugs
• Assist in the theatre
• Recruit new clients for MCH/FP and give health talks and training to patients and clients
• Provides Family Planning Services and Child Welfare Clinics
• Counselling of patients
• Follow and maintain antiseptic technique and ensure infection prevention SOPs are followed
• Instrument cleaning/slicing and sterilization/autoclaving
• Cleaning and dressing of wounds, removal of stitches
• Writing down patients diets and ensuring the same is followed
• Nursing patients on transit to referral hospitals and ensure the same are procedurally admitted to hospitals.
• Prepares specific ward reports and timely submit the same
• Carry out preventative medicine form time to time

• Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse(KRCHN)
• Must be registered in the Nursing Council of Kenya and with a valid license
• Minimum two years working experience in related field
