Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Manager to lead the team at Shompole Camp. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee all camp operations, ensuring a seamless blend of luxury hospitality, authentic safari experiences, and a strong commitment to conservation and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the camp, including guest relations, guiding, food & beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the camp team to deliver exceptional, personalized guest experiences.
- Act as the primary host for all guests, ensuring their safari journey is memorable and seamless.
- Uphold the brand’s ethos of conservation, sustainability, and community partnership.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue while maintaining the camp's low-impact, high-value model.
- Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative working environment in a remote setting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or Senior Manager in a high-end, remote safari lodge.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and community empowerment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of guests.
