We're Hiring

We are seeking commercially driven and results-oriented professionals to join our team as Logbook Loan and Asset Finance Officers. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of logbook loan and asset finance products, including client acquisition, credit appraisal, loan processing, risk management, and portfolio monitoring. The successful candidates will play a key role in driving business growth while maintaining portfolio quality and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in logbook loans, asset financing, lending, or credit sales.
  • Strong credit appraisal and risk assessment skills.
  • Good sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proven experience in financial services, microfinance, or fintech-particularly in lending, credit assessment, loan processing, and portfolio management is a must.
  • Proficiency in CRM and loan management systems, including accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting, is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and marketing of logbook loan and asset finance products.
  • Source clients through field marketing, activations, visits, and telesales.
  • Receive, appraise, and process loan applications.
  • Conduct credit risk assessments and due diligence on clients and collateral.
  • Coordinate loan approvals and ensure timely, compliant disbursement.
  • Monitor repayments and manage portfolio performance.
  • Follow up on arrears and support recovery processes.
  • Provide responsive customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare reports on disbursements, portfolio quality, and performance trends.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate loan documentation and update CRM/loan systems.
  • Safeguard client data and identify potential risks or irregularities.
  • Track market trends and provide feedback for product and service improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly loan disbursement targets.
  • Portfolio quality and delinquency levels.
  • Loan processing turnaround time.
  • Recovery and arrears management performance.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention.

Compensation

  • Gross Monthly Retainer: KES 25,000 - 31,000.
  • Telephone Allowance.
  • Attractive performance-based commission.
