The role ensures timely, cost effective, and compliant movement of goods while maintaining accurate inventory visibility across all locations.
The position plays a critical role in supporting business continuity and service delivery by ensuring product availability, efficient distribution, and controlled returns. - Maintain complete, accurate, and well-structured logistics documentation (import, transport, delivery, and disposal records), ensuring full traceability and readiness for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
- Supervise unloading of inbound containers and verify seal integrity.
- Manage and control all in-country stock movements, including outbound distribution from the Warehouse to Service Centers and reverse logistics returns back to the Warehouse, ensuring timely execution and physical stock verification.
- Oversee and coordinate reverse logistics processes, including returns assessment, segregation, and reconciliation, ensuring accurate system updates and proper handling of returned and non- conforming stock.
- Coordinate the safe, compliant, and fully documented disposal of electronic waste through licensed and certified recycling partners, in line with environmental regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure all stock movements (inbound, outbound, inter-warehouse, and returns) are accurately and promptly recorded in the inventory management systems, maintaining real-time stock visibility, data integrity, and variance control.
- Ensure full compliance with all logistics operations with applicable customs, trade, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
- Manage and monitor third-party logistics (3PL) partners, including transporters, clearing agents, and service providers, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels, costs, and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate, manage, and review contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with logistics service providers to optimize costs, improve performance, and mitigate operational risks.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, logistics suppliers, 3PL partners, customs brokers, clearing agents, and regulatory bodies to support smooth, reliable, and efficient operations.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain operations with emphasis on international import coordination and in-country distribution.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, HS classification, trade compliance, and e-waste regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing third-party logistics partners, negotiating contracts, establishing SLAs, and monitoring performance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams under measurable KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related discipline.
