Background

You will be responsible for managing transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with internal product lines on equipment and service deliveries from country point of entry, to operating base, and to work site and the same for demobilizations.
• Liaising with OCTG supplier for delivery of OCTG to worksite
• Being accountable for on time delivery of all goods and services to the worksite and managing cost associated with mobilizing same.
• Have complete oversight of all logistical deliveries to carry out the drilling and completion work.
• Liaising with rig contractor on rig related deliveries and rig moves.

Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Have at least 4 years of experience in Logistics
• Being a good communicator
• Being a team player with excellent interpersonal & leadership skills.
• Being able to work during public holidays, weekends and after office hours when operations require such hours to work.
• Have the ability to work independently, demonstrate the ability to problem solve and identify solutions.
• Being an effective problem identification and solution skills.
• Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
